Spoilt Dog......

Otto has finally had his stitches out today, it's only been ten days, but it feels like an eternity! Can't wait to take him for a proper run tomorrow!

The Vet said he was a fantastic looking dog, and that if every dog he saw was the weight Otto was, he would be ecstatic!

He was very well behaved whilst having his stitches out, even gave the Vet a lick on the chin

OH decided that Otto needed a new bed, so off we trotted this morning and got him this....

It is very posh and squishy! (I had a sit in it

) He has, however decided that it is clearly a portable bed, and has been dragging it round the house!!

Here he is making himself comfortable, Kongs make very good pillows apparently!

And just because he looks silly!

PMSL! Very spoilt! (We had to laugh at ourselves buying a new dog bed for the little dog the other day...trying to decide if 'she would like it' and testing the dog beds... great deliberation! )

Love the new bed, do you think OH was feeling guilty about Otto's op, feeling sympathy for his loss

If Evie had a soft bed she would destroy it in seconds, she is slowly reducing the sides of her tough plastic one that has lasted for years, and has chewed a hole in her Tuffies beanbag

Otto got to go in the shop and choose his own

He decided that this one had the most cushioning, but wouldn't settle for a smaller size

He also demanded a chew and some bacon roll thingies!

I think you might be right, especially as OH had a rather unfortunate stamping incident in a Rugby Match shortly after Otto's Op, which left him rather sympathetic of Otto's pain

Luckily Otto only chews things which are designed for him to chew, so soft beds aren't a problem, although he has become slightly more destructive since his lack of exercise. Looking forward to letting him run it off tomorrow!
