Hi all, needing good luck vibes this way.

My 6 year old daughters got a 11 mile sponsered ride tommorow, with 30 optional jumps. And shes going dressed as an elf!!! :D

Im quite nervous really, will be going on foot.

I totally trust her pony hes a really steady safe pony but its still a long way and a big thing for such a little person.

And shes got loads of sponsership made my dad take the form to his local pub with all his mates and he managed to get 200 pounds!!:) Although i havnt told her but thats quite alot of pressure really. Shes just really excited thats shes getting a nice long ride!!!

My word.....hope you've had extra oats to cope with those 30 jumps.... ;)

Glad you can get out....snow here is a nightmare, although slowly going now, we can only ride on the roads, not on the bridleways... :(

Have a good day!

your going on foot?! dedicated mum! i think she'll really enjoy it and you need to relax as well for her too though (: i didnt do them when i was quite that young (because i didnt have a pony! but think they are brillant for kids :D

LOL i dont think she'll be doing all the jumps i expect some will be a bit big cos she only on a tiny pony but hes tucked up with a big haynet tonight.

Got to say weve been extremly lucky with the snow down here only had one big downfall, the roads were pretty much clear the next day and everywhere else had melted with in 3. She hasnt not ridden once cos of the weather so counting my blessings really compared to the rest of the counrty!!!!!

Not all the way round, managed to get a friend on a safe cob to go round with her. :D But will be going to all the points to keep and eye out for her its across fields so i expect ill be able to cut across to cheer her on. Yer shes really looking forward to it, i think shell really enjoy it, shes shown and jumped alot over the summer so its nice for her to chill and have some fun times out at the minute. :)

I did a sponsored ride this year, and the person who came with me (who has 2 ponies, i was on one of hers) was riding a babycob so we had someone on foot for 20 miles ;)
It was great fun, and Bella, the pony i rode was reallyyy fit so we had a few pretty good gallops leavving our foot follower behind and let her catch up while the ponies had a bite of grass :D

I loved it :D get some piccys!! :D

Oh yes got the camera ready, espeacially to catch the elf costume!!:D Was gonna get some rudolf ears for the pony but didnt manage to get out and get some today. :( But will be a good day. :)
