Sponsored ride ideal start time for green horse

Hello, I am going to enter a local fun ride. First ever for my green rising 6 pony. We know the start venue very well and also the area but we normally hack alone and very rarely in company. I am wondering which start time to pick to make it the least stressful or busy. First or last or in the middle?

I aimed for first off, hacked there and arrived in good time, only for the start to be delayed due to late arrival of the paramedics.

@SpotsandBays and I thought we'd go first with two rising 5yo last year but they delayed us starting

Fortunately Spotsandbays youngster behaved pretty well. I needed my neck strap though!!
