Sponsored Ride or not?

Ok just had details of a nice 14 mile sponsored ride across Cannock Chase on the 4th March, cost £12, closing date 23 feb. However my lorry is being plated on the 1st March, so do I enter the sponsored ride and hope it passes or leave it? Really want to go as not been on one before. Advice please.
 
Book, its not a huge amount of money to lose if something goes wrong with the lorry and Cannock Chase is soooo beautiful.

that's my gut reaction as well and yes Cannock Chase is stunning though IMO is being eroded by all of the mountain bikers using it now as nice peaty tracks are now stone

Why won't Daisy travel and whereabouts are you based?
 
Near Derby, its one of my goals to get her travelling in the long run but we are lucky to be based next door to the Riding Club showground so most of the time it doesn't matter.

We don't have a box because she hates it but then it means that I don't pursue the issue so its all a bit circular.

She will go in with about ten minutes of gentle persuasion but really hates it, she stamps and kicks like a nutter every time we go around a corner and I'm worried she'll do herself serious damage. We've only transported her twice, once to buy her and once to move yards. Both times she got very sweated and distressed so unless we solved the problem you couldn't ride her when you got somewhere anyway. We tried sedating her the second time but she managed to shake off the sedation once she saw the box.

If your lorry does pass why not box Pidge and come and visit us one weekend? We have amazing hacking, definitely on a par with Cannock Chase

ooh dear that does sound like she really doesn't like travelling. was it in a box or trailer? I'm lucky in that Pidge is a very good traveller and loads like he does it every day

sisters cob Sunny on the other hand, well what can I say bar opinionated! When we stop he starts banging as if to say "well we've stopped so let me off" which can be awkward at traffic lights

A visit would be cool, how far away is Derby as I'm crap at Geography etc etc, comes with being blonde
