Spontaneous pneumomediastinum Anyones horse live thru this?

My poor boy was very poorly, suspected grass sickness but fortunately after getting him to vet hospital quickly he was kept comfortable & diagnosed as suffering from spontaneous pneumomediastum.
He’s 12 days post 1st showing major discomfort. X-rays showing normal today so taking him home for r&r.
Keen to hear if anyone has experienced this with their horses.

Thankyou yes I’ve read that report. Yes he’s home now after being cared for in dick vet, chest X-rays clear. He’s looking amazing, quite unbelievable after the last few weeks. it’s just so rare I wondered if anyone had a ‘survivor’ story. It’s more common in humans.
