I rode my share horse the other day and it spooked at something and catered of with me and I'm just wondering how to calm a horse down and how to stop them

From this and all the other threads you've posted perhaps find a good instructor locally to help you? if you struggle on you will end up loosing confidence. Just having access to a horse doesn't mean not having to have lessons - quite the opposite I'm afraid - we're all still learning no matter how old and how experienced we are!

Blimey if my horse did that to a sharer that sharer would be given a hand shake and told not to come back. You need lessons and supervision before you both have an accident!

Really? My horses spook and tank regularly - no reflection on the riders ability or lack thereof. They're horses - it happens.

So does Fergs. Well, not so much of the catering, but occasionally cantering off ;) I guess that post is a ref to the OP's other posts (which I haven't seen, but it doesn't make sense in the context of this thread alone!).
