For one of my horses I spent a bomb on a set of boots, but after use there were fur rubs (yes, I had them on correctly!) and her legs were terribly sweaty.....and even after correct washing and care, they tend to go a bit stiff....

I don't want to spend a bomb again, but want decent protection (not just tendon) for OH's horse who will be doing a bit of riding club jumping this summer once he is fitter.....

Any pics of bandages (close-ups) and boots welcome, alongside recommendations!

Cheers!

I found bandages made his legs far too hot so I don't use them anymore. found premier equine wraps good as he has a habit of catching him self when he is doing extended trot or piaffe and brushing boots were a little to restrictive (same with tendon boots) and I didn't want his legs heating up too much but these were good without costing an absolute fortune :) (hope that helps)

I use pro sport boots in front, and fybergee, and exercise bandages behind. This is because my boy has a very long cannon bone behind, and I find that even the XL boots dont come up high enough. I find that he will sweat in both, but possibly gets more fur rubs with the boots
