I have my yearling entered in a Sports Horse in hand class and the entry form states that I must wear white!! Can someone please advise what exactly I should wear?! Many thanks
If they want you in white they're probably showing in a continental way. That means white trousers and white top literally and then sensible boots to run in!
It will also mean they probably show "on a triangle" rather than just trotting up
Would a white top be a shirt and tie or just a sweater? Also, would I have to wear a hat of some description??? They did send me out an information sheet which explained the triangle format, but not much info re the dress code!
Long or short sleeves, no problem, teamed with white trousers that have a bit of stretch in them so that you can run OK!
I wore a hat, my beagler, when showing Spider as he is a colt and didn't want to get thumped on the head should he have been naughty but most didn't wear hats.
I guess that's up to you.
Wear white polo shirt, white jeans or chinos and trainers, you need to be able to run. Some of the breed societies do polo shirts with their own motifs on, if you want to be swish!!
