OK, so my Hector is 3 now and will be doing the odd show this year. His in-hand bridle still fits and looks the part. However, I was wondering if he should be in a simple snaffle bridle for Sports Horse Classes? I can't find any pics to see what other 3yo's wear.

An in hand bridle is fine. You can show horses of any age in one and it is correct turnout for in hand classes. You can put any bit you want on it depending on how he is in his mouth

HI S_N, so far the shows ive been to the 3yo's have been in in hand bridles with normal snaffle bits, so i dont think hell look out of place in that. if you want though, you could put him in a normal bridle and use the lead rein rather than normal reins. Good luck with it, and dont forget the pics

That's great! Thanks guys!! Fingers crossed his head doesn't grow in the next couple of months as the in-hand bridle is on the largest fittings lol!
