The child is my 2 1/2 year old nephew, and Jake is his pony which he has had since April. He is 8hh (the pony that is!) and can be a true *****land, but is fab with kids!

Then a few of the foal just becuase she is cute!!!!

A little shetland cupcake. ahhhhhhhhh! :D

We have one of those too. I think it's amazing how the frost settles on her back in the morning - just shows how well insulated they are that their body heat doesn't melt it. If you dig down to the bottom of her coat to the skin she is so warm and dry and cosy.
 
hope it doersn't snow much more where you are - the little fella will be shoulder deep lol.

my mum has shetland who is like yours he has so much thick coat he looks like a polar bear in the snow (he is white btw).
they are so well insulated under their coat the snow doesn't even melt on thier backs.:)
