We are spraying our fields with Relay P and will be taking the horses in from their adjacent paddock. I plan to spray no closer than 40m to their fenceline and wait 4 hours after the spraying has finished before considering putting them back out. I have found loads of information about how long to wait before putting horses back onto sprayed paddocks but nothing about putting them back out into an adjacent field and the distance that should be left between the grazed and sprayed area. Can anyone help with providing safe guidelines for this please? Thanks.

40M sounds a bit like overkill. Obviously you will be carefull of any wind to avoid drift. Also keep the sprayer pressure as low as possible to avoid fine droplets that can carry on the wind. I would have thought that 10 M was more than sufficient if you are spraying in good conditions (and if you arnt, Dont:cool:)
