Spreading Muck Compost on grazing

How long would you suggest that you leave horses off of pasture fields that have been spread with composted manure before allowing them to graze on them again?

Up to two years old - they are going to use the well rotted stuff

I do this every couple of years , goes on in April or May as soon as it's dry enough the field then gets rested till the end of September .

We spread our matured muck on during winter when ground is frozen and land is not being grazed.
