Right, after spending most of my weekend in the saddle my ankles are killing me so I've decided it's time to finally invest in a pair of Sprengers. The trouble is I'm not really meant to be spending money at the moment so ideally I need to find them at a good price or with a discount code to justify them.

So does anyone know any offers on them at the moment? I ride in 4.5" stirrups usually although I've heard that Sprengers come up a tad small so might need 4.75".

Have been trying to find a secondhand pair on ebay but got outbid at the last minute and have had no luck on local facebook pages/preloved so any suggestions would be great,

Cheapest I've found so far is on offer at Wychanger Barton saddlery. They do mail order and they are £129.95 I think.
Sometimes eBay have people selling second hand ones?
I'm also looking for some as I've just had a knee op so think they will help when I'm back in the saddle, so any cheaper suggestions also greatly appreciated!
:-)

Compositi reflex stirrups are a good cheaper alternative.
I find they offer more support than the Spengers I tried as the don't have the sideways wobble.

Ingatestone Saddlery were the best on price when I bought mine, think I paid £94, that was from in the shop though as that is my local tack shop, I do not know how they are priced online from ISC.

Incidentally, I don't find them any help at all for my creeky, clicky knee's and ankles.

They're showing as £146 online. How long ago did you buy them from them as I'm heading to Harwich in a few weeks time and might be able to convince hubby to take a detour ;)
