Sprenger KK bits - what do you clean them with?

As title please :) I usually use hot water and one of those sponges with the brilo pad thingy on one side (is it a brilo pad, my brain has gone blank sorry!!). But will it scratch the bit? Sorry for the silly question but i fear i might ruin the bit

Thanks :)

They sell some stuff called diamond paste - think i struggled to get it last time and ordered it on the internet from the schockemohle shop. I wash the bits and remove gunk then put it on and leave it for a couple of minutes and then polish with a damp sponge and then a clean dry cloth. It works.

Toothpaste or bread soda on a cloth but don't do it too ofsten because I want it to last my horse's lifetime without getting pitted.
