Also in NL, but thought may get more replies here!

As title really... has anyone used one of these bits?
Any thoughts... success stories?
Can't seem to find many details on these bits other than 'good for fussy horses'.

Just wanted some thoughts from anyone whose used one of these. Many thanks!

Absolutely love them - we use them on horses that are just starting after being broken and anything with a super soft mouth. They are about as mild a bit as it is possible to get.
We have re started many "fussy" horses with these and then progressed onto loose ring jointed snaffles etc once they had learned to accept the bit and take up a contact. Also very good for horses with a small mouth - just make sure you put it in the right way round!

In my old yard we had this bit in 3 different sizes and I worked for an old school guy who only used snaffles and had a double bridle for anything else. Couldn't recommend them highly enough

i've got one with eggbutt sides and it is hardly ever used, i bought it donkey's years ago but it didn't suit the horse. have been told they are good for horses that loll their tongues out. must admit, it hasn't suited anything i've had here! mine's about 5 3/4" iirc but am happy to loan it out.

Hi there, if anyone has one of these bits (and not using now) and you would lend me with a view to buy that would be fab?

I want a 5 inch or 5 1/8 inch.

Thanks and I can work out a way for me to pay you for your trouble (if the trial doesn't work as I hope)..?

Best regards,
Hollie
