Sprenger size question

Im going to order a pair of Sprengers but not sure what size to order?? I have size 5 feet? Im going for the normal ones not the Bowbalance ones. Any ideas what size do you have? My ordinary peacock stirrups are 5" (i think!) but when ive looked on the website at sprengers it says ladies size is 4 3/4, will they be big enough...... argh i dont want to order them then have to faff about sending them back!!

mine at that size are plenty big, i take a size 6

I'd be surprised if your peacock ones are 5", as they aren't really strong enough to support a blokes weight and that is basically the largest size you can get!

You measure the inside to inside.

4.75" (12cm) is a good size for most, but if a large gent is riding then a 5" (13cm) might be more appropriate.

I was always told to measure the widest part of your riding boots (across the ball of your foot) and add an extra inch so that your feet wont get stuck should you fall off.

They are for me and im def a female lol!!! No gents of any size ride my horse so the stirrups are for me!!
How ever it will be a bloke paying for them haha (my long suffering hubby!!)

I also have the ladies 4 3/4 Sprenger and I am a size 5 and they are absolutely fine.
