Yes.
have 3 pairs now, absolutely love them. i don't think the bow balance ones are any different to the normal ones though, bought a pair and can't tell the difference at all when riding.
if you know anyone in Germany, they're half the price over there...
I have just bought some Bow Balance ones, £85 inc. P&P. B***** love them! I find it much harder to lose them (when in sitting trot for example) and I don't get really achy knees or ankles any more. They are cushion-y without being unstable. The regular System 4 Safety ones were lovely but I can still lose them easily when in sitting trot. (Maybe I should have more lessons instead, but it'll cost me more than £85!!)
If you want the regular ones, I have been informed that you may as well spend £50 on the Thorowgood ones than £25-50 more on the Sprengers, as they are just as good.
I love my Bow Balance ones, I never tried the original ones but can feel the difference now even after just going for a little mooch on someone elses sprenger-less horse.
I have the original ones and they're fab. Feels weird to ride in "normal" stirrups now I've ridden in them for the last 3 years!
I have also teamed them up with the Mountain Horse SC3S treads and boots and hardly ever loose my stirrups, really notice the difference when doing canter to trot or trot to walk transitions!
I have the original ones and they are fab. I tried the Bow Balance and found they were no different to the others and are a nasty blue colour so took them back!
I have the original Flexi stirrups with the off-set design (so the stirrup is always facing the correct way). I love them. The Bow Balance are supposed to be different, but I don't know how
I have the originals and they are worth every penny. Was suffering with knee pain to the point of having to stop after 5 minutes in a lesson, purchased the sprengers and have had not even a hint of any knee pain. Used them for about 4.5 years now and don't use anything else.
Yes and no. They´re great, but you can get something very similar from Shires (and others) for a fraction of the price. I use them all the time and adore them. My knees don´t hurt any more.
Are the bow balance ones the ones that ´give´ downwards (so are ´cushioned´) as well as being bendy?

no, the bow balance ones have a slightly offset top loop for the leather, so the stirrup hands naturally ready for your foot, you don't have to turn it through 45 degrees.
But the ones I have do that. They were produced after the orginal flexi ones and before the bow balance, so there must be something else with the bow balance?
I wouldn't be without mine now, the change when I use my old normal stirrups is huge. I refuse to believe the cheaper ones are as good, don't want to know that I've wasted money

Yes and they have a wide tread too which offers that extra bit of stability.
Now here's a funny thing....my 11yr old son spotted that the squire in Lark Rise to Candleford Has SPRENGERS!!!!
Boy, they have been around a long time!!!!!
