Hi all,

Were looking at getting my rising 5yo out to a couple of these this spring time but i cant really find that many on? the only thing i can find is a couple ode's being held at felixkirk.

does anyone have any suggestions?

also.....im desperate for a xc chooling buddy as no one where I am does xc and it would be nice meeting up with a buddy the first few times! (were sj 1m at the moment but havent done any xc although she has been in a water splash and over a ditch) any takers?

I think theres a show cross at Epworth at the end of March? Thats normally pretty good

Where would you be looking to xc school? I might be up for it - in a couple of weeks though, haven't done much for ages!!

Can't say my horse is mega bold, but he'll do any xc fence up to PN

- Northallerton/Helen Bell/Richmond/Thornthorpe/Port Royal/Eleanor Mercer etc. Osberton entries are full and most things up here don't start until late March at the earliest so there probably won't be anything on the websites for a few weeks.
 
Thornton Lodge is near Easingwold but they aren't doing any XC comps till Sept this year though you can school there from April depending on weather. The qualifiers for UK riders SJ and dressage start in April too.
 
Grove and rufford hunt have hunter trials at Osberton, 27th of March (I think - might be 28th though?) with 85cm, 1m and 1.10m classes. Then in April there's a 'mini ODE' organised by Grove PC at Osberton too, but they havn't got the schedule up yet so not sure what heights there'll be or if it's just for littlies on ponies

Epworth has a few things on.
 
If you fancy xc schooling round either northallerton or possibly helen bells sometime in March I would be up for it. I probably wouldn't be jumping much bigger than about 85cm though as I am a wimp. Horse will do most kinds of jump though without much fuss PM me if you fancy it.
 
I am game if you want to meet up and school round Escrick Park , Courses for Horse or Manor House Gliberdyke or any other local track have an intro horse and a retired(from competition) intermediate horse
 
Hi I am always looking for XC schooling and would happily meet up for a schooling session. Kathrine Wicks hires her course out, I have been told and I am hoping to go as soon as the ground is good enough. Have you stiil got your saddle I'm new and don't know how to PM (also a bit slow).
 
hi i would like to go xc schooling to we should all meet up and go together.
there is one by me at appleton le moors, its good for youngsters and anyone really, jumps from 2ft to 3ft 11. ta xx
