It was lovely here today nice and warm with the sun popping out for a while, all the local riders where out at some point including us on Tess :) She was amazing didn't spook at anything and was nice and forwards going.

Tomorrow we are going to the sand school for a lesson from my mum :D

Who else made good use of the weather ?

And some trademark photos from today :D

My favourite photo so far :)

I ride my girl everyday but we made good use of the sun by going on a 2hr hack on our own, lots of it off road and it was so nice and peaceful :)

We managed to get out today, first time since Boxing Day  Only a short ride to the common and back, but just so good to ride again :) My mare doesn't like the getting fit bit, thinks we should go out for longer and go faster, but I decide she needs slow fittening work :D

I keep her in Soham near Newmarket, Suffolk .. Im useless when it comes to geography so no idea if it's near Lincolnshire! It is very flat though, annoying as I like working up hills but the best we get are mole hills!

ah you are about an hour away from me :) I feel your pain we have zero hills, even though the village has " Hill" in its name :P

Me too, went with a friend to our local common, it was bliss!! Had a few canters, horse was lovely and forwards (he can be a bit ploddy on his own), weather was lovely, roll on spring!!

I actually didn't ride today but did yesterday and it was beautiful, and so nice not to have frozen toes! I decided to give the ponies a good long time out in the field today instead as they seemed so happy in the sunshine, and I had lots of jobs that needed doing around the yard so cracked on with those. Best make the most of the warmth tomorrow though as it looks like it's going to get very cold again come tuesday.

Meee!

Madam and I had a lovely hack just the two of us. It was beautiful sunny weather and gorgeous views with mist sitting in the valley bottom. We saw snow, and snowdrops too :D

Really felt like spring was in the air.

It was lovely out today - very mild and the sun was trying its best!! Had a lovely ride with a friend, even including a couple of canters where it wasn't too soggy!

Really puts you in the mood for spring!

I went out on my first hack since having my baby three months ago, its been about 10 months since my boy even left the yard and he was very good.

Today i think i had the best ride i've had on my horse. It was only a hack to the next village but he didn't nap once and was so relaxed in his bitless bridle.. No head shaking and I had control!
Fab day :D

Went out yesterday, today and going tomorrow too :-D have been doing mostly in hand on our own for traffic proofing but my nervous friend who tends to avoid riding has had some sort of confidence lift which is great for me so we can get out in company! I reckon if we can do it this regularly we'll be ready to go it alone in no time and the weather was sooo nice for it today!

Looks much like our countryside Tonitrot, on the Newmarket side of Cambridge :-)
