Can we all start taking deep breaths and cautiously hope that it’s nearly time for no mucking out ?

Wee guy is casting like crazy so in the fabulous 14.5 degree sunshine this afternoon I gave him his first (mini) bath if the year to help get more coat out. He also got a mane and tail tidy, I just need to spend time shaping his tail a wee bit more.

Aiming for our first show 2/05 so will be spending an hour daily stripping his coat out now to hopefully not have a ragamuffin by then ????

we also had some attitude To one of his uncles ??‍♀️? Welshies ?

So who else is getting ready for parties and hating the casting issue?

I stand back out of the reach of most wayward hair ...

Degas loved the scratchy broom!

Lol look at that face ?

I find stripping coat quite therapeutic if really sore on my arms. I’m resisting the urge to buy one of these tools for it and stick with my trusty old hoop scraper and fart block but the adverts make it look so easy lol ?

I've got 2.5 (including my former share horse whom I still look after) moulting greys. One unclipped, one irish clip and one blanket. There's white hair 8100dy EVERYWHERE and I am not amused. I went shopping yesterday and there was even a load in my shopping bags. They live in a cupboard in the utility room at home and I've not brought any horsey stuff home to wash for weeks. Just how does it get there?

yeah it gets everywhere with no idea how! I’ll be at it again tonight, I go home more dirty than he started out! Having to wear my beanie hat still or my scalp ends up manky with the mud dust ??
