Its just not working out with my springer spaniel

i advertised her a few weeks back on here then thought i could make more time to take her out etc but with working and having the horses i just cant find the time for her. She is 19 months old, liver and white and is just typical springer - full of energy! she is good with kids having been bought up with them and is daft as a brush! i really want her to go to a good home and someone who has had a springer before so they know what to expect!

So am looking for a permanent loving home for Milly where she can be walked lots and have lots of cuddles and attention - what she needs!
We are just outside of bridgnorth, shropshire
Please me if your interested, thanks

I will jsut nick off and find u a good link to a rescue I gave to someone else the other day.............be back shortly.....I can never remember off the top of my head

Might be difficult to find her a working home since she is 19 months, has she had much training done?
I'm sure there are loads of people, young couples etc who would love a little dog like that since she's no longer a young pup.
Hope you find her a lovely home x

Can she be left alone or is she destructive??
*Thinking* Ma n Pa might offer her a home. They had a dog called Tessa, a springer who was liver and white who died 4 years ago. They still grieve for her now, in fact my Mum has never walked through the field over from the house again. She can't bring herself to go without Tessa. Dad STILL wakes up at 5.30 for the start of the 3 hour morning weekend walk that him and Tess shared. I know they desperatley want another and have actually asked for 2 pups when Dad retires in 5 years.
They took on a 8 month old springer but he turned out to be too 'babied' and got jealous of Bubs and actually went for her so was rehomed to a working home.
Cod I ramble but its so easy when its Tess I'm rambling about as she was a superstar!

I leave her in the kitchen at night and when we go out, shes never caused any destruction. Have left her in the house for a few hours and shes not destructive. She will chew the odd thing if she can get hold of it - ie toilet rolls or socks but never furniture.
They sound like the perfect people for her, shes very good with kids - bought up with them - there 4 and 6 ( my little girl whos 4 dresses her up and puts hair bands in her ears) , good with other dogs - she likes to play. We have a kitten and a cat, shes good with them (never tries to bite them etc) but does like to follow them round but soon gets tired of following them and will settle. Shes good off the lead and comes to her name, she follows commands such as sit, lie down, paw, wait etc........she is a live wire and loves to play - she only really barks when she gets excited and once shes had a good walk she will sleep all day!

Posie_Josie or something like that! I think they are after a Lab next though.

Such a shame we're not in a position to have another at the moment as I'd have her like a shot. Hope you find somewhere perfect for her.

Aww - I hope you get her rehomed soon. I have 4 ESS (workers) and a current litter of 9 babies too - busy Xmas here !!!!!

It is always hard to rehome a dog, but it sounds like you are doing the right thing for her.

Have a good Xmas

I hope Millyspaniel doesn't mind BUT!!!

YUP! She will be coming to live with them just after Christmas as they have 14+ people coming to dinner and don't want to upset Milly. Then Pops is having a week off to spend with her.
I have been sent a pic and she is the spit of Tessa-they got a bit emotional when they saw the pic.
