Sprinter Sacre out of Cheltenham.

What a blow, hope this dosn't mean we don't seem him on a racecourse again, his safety is obviously paramount but I bet a lot of people were going to Cheltenham just to see him. Hope he recovers and we see him back next season, back to his normal self, racing needs super stars and he is certainly one of those.
 
Went on Cheltenham ticket site today to spend £75 just to see him in the flesh, saw the news before I did luckily. Absolutely gutted but relieved at the same time, I hope he has a good rest and they manage to get him back out next season, he's a joy to watch.
 
Respect to Nicky Henderson and the Seven Barrows team for making the right decision for the horse. I really hope he comes back next season, he's a joy to watch ( even when he's beating the wonderful Cue Card, my favourite!)
 
I saw him last year, he is the most perfect racehorse. Hope we do see him again, and agreed, good call by Henderson. He could so easily have taken the chance to run him, as even 10% off his best he's still likely to be a class above everything else. Apparently Sizing Europe's been supplemented - that would be great if he could take the QM!
 
I have up trying to get near the parade ring last year as it was so busy. However I got a good position on the rails by the finish. I asked OH to get photo of him and he managed to get one of SS's behind lol. I've been keeping an eye on Sire de Grugy . Another interesting horse and love his relationship with his jockey. Would have been good to see him race Sprinter Sacre
