I am going to look at a cocker x springer bitch which is up for rehoming at the weekend.
I just wondered if anyone has one or knows anything about them. She is a 9 month old bitch.

We get alot through our rescue.....as above, they have an abundance of energy, but usually pretty sweet little dogs, with bags of personality..we gift all of ours to the prison service, they are ideal for that.
As long as you have lots of time for training and exercise.

Popple has a friend at the park who's a sprocker - lovely dog

Certainly a combination I'd be tempted to go for in the future

Thanks for all the answers. We went to see her and she is adorable. Lively but very sweet and polite when she asks for attention. Not had a huge amount of training but she is young enough to be very trainable.
She has also always lived with other dogs and she will come to be an only dog with us. I know this will take her a long time to adjust to but she will be worth it in the end.
We are picking her up tomorrow so wish me luck!

Good luck - I am jealous! My husband is quite keen on getting a sprocker as a gun-dog as there are a couple of them on his shoot and he says they are really good, hard-working dogs.
I would love one too but haven't completely made up my mind whether we have the time and money to commit ourselves!

spaniels are brats and like to be the centre of attention - mine is currently asleep on 'his' sofa!!

Ha ha! Mine is only half spaniel, so I am allowed to share the sofa!!

Otto tries his hardest to take up the entire sofa, but he just isn't quite long enough!
