Can anyone reccomend spurs for a short legged rider with a lazy dressage horse. I feel a need some that point a little inwards as I find it difficult to get my leg on my horse.
Suggestions welcome!

Have you tried comb-edge spurs. They don't have a sticking out bit but part of the inside edge is a bit bobbly. I bet you have no idea what I am on about!!! I think Robinsons or Derby House have them (picture will be best!)

I would of thought the only problm with them is you cant use your leg without using the spur. I have a huge pair of spurs but they only ever come into play when I want them to.
Although my friend has a pair of the comb edged ones and she loves them, so try them and see!!

Where did you get the huge spurs from??
My spur doesn't seem to touch him unless I turn my toe out which is not ideal!

They are just long stubben spurs, only work when I turn my toe out too, but due to the length dont have to turn them out by much. I never think of them as particularly long but people always comment on the length!
Just means that I can use my calf and then my spur if hes not listening rather than just my spur constantly.
Having to turn your toe out isnt due to being short legged, trust me, Im six foot and I still have to do it!! Have a long pair of swan necks for when I ride long, otherwise my spur point is past where I need it to be!

Ball end spurs are good- I have the 35mm ones and although they are long they only come into play if I decide to use them. Or as a one off you could use some long 35mm disc spurs- you will probably only need to use them once!
