Squeaky Saddle

Hi everyone

First of many silly questions that I will probably ask now I've joined.

I have a synthetic saddle which squeaks. This is very annoying and becomes louder over time. If I oil the bit where the styrrups go (see I dont even know what its called) then it goes away but comes back after about a week.

Any ideas what I can do about this? Would having leather styrrups help?

when i had synthetic saddle (throwgood) use to squeak all the time leather stirrup leathers would proberbly help a little
