squirrel watch Winter style!!

This is how Sage and Dexter squirrel watch when it is cold. The squirrel was actually on the bird feeder!!

My mastiff does the same thing when watching birds! If I open the door to let him out he looks at me like "are you joking it's freezing out there!!!"

Actually they both love a good bum scratch.

Not sure how they feel about squeezing, guess I'll let you just go ahead and give it a try!!

Have to say they are very dignified about it, think mine would be bouncing up and down. Evie still stares up into the trees on our walk where she saw a squirrel ages ago. Yesterday there was a dead one on the road and unfortunately the girls saw it before I did, cue tug of war between Buffy and Evie but luckily they did drop it when I bellowed. Evie obviously doesn't believe it was "her " squirrel though as she was still tree gazing today

Eeeewww tug of war with a dead squirrel. dogs are just lovely aren't they!! Sage particularly still checks out every tree just in case.
As for dignified, if I open the door we get the cartoon leg scrabbling thing going on and then full pelt across the garden. Oh well the exercise is good for them!!
