I decided to give it a go - it does state it is for home produced - which in my mind is not for Producers. However a producer won and then moaned because they didn't do well in the second rounds to which I thought ''well you shouldn't actually be here''!
So my gripe is - why cant people be honest and why cant SSADL check? I did email them but they chose to ignore me.

Are you 100% sure they are a producer and not just a very amatur.
What proof do you have that they make their primary income from producing horses far the show ring?

If you have the above proof then put your money down and make an official complaint. sSadl can't possibly check the financial details of every single competitor so they rely on it self policing.

I used to get accused of being a producer on a regular basis but I'm not, my job is in R&d in a major fmcg company and I have never made any money from horses.
Put your money down, if you are right you get your money back. If wrong then it is a lesson I not accusing people without the correct proof
