Ssshhhh! Don't tell Bear The Border, but ......

........ he's going into kennels on 7th March! Just for one night, on this occasion, as it will be his first night away from home all on his ownsome! It's a small intro into kennels, as he will be going again from 14-18 March, when OH and I go back down to B-W to collect Merlin.

It's a six-hour journey by car, and we've got lots to do when we get there (packing up The Cob's stuff before it goes on the lorry etc.), so Bear will be better off, away out of the chaos. And he gets to meet new friends and annoy someone else for a change.........

Is this a neccesary trip or just to intro him to kennels?
I ask as I feel they settle better if just left rather than toing and froing with owner involvement..

I'm sure he will be fine

St Sweep had to go and stay at the dog hotel when he was about a year old as I had to be away for work - he still goes there nearly 12 years later for his 'Spa days' (bath and clip to you and me) and he loves it as they spoil him rotten (apart from coming out smelling of roses....)
