Can they be left on all the time? Well obviously I'll take them off morning and evening and re-apply, but for some reason I thought I had once been told only to bandage for 12 hours a day? Or did I just make that up??!

They can be left on 24/7 as long as they are re-applied etc daily to check for sores etc

i personaly wouldnt leave them on all day hun, even if you are reapplying them - i think its good to let the legs 'breathe' for at least 5-6hrs, but thats my personal opinion xx

So leaving them off for the morning would be a good idea? That was what I thought I had been told, but wasn't sure... I left them off all day on Sunday but put them on this lunchtime today (so in the 24 hours of Monday she would have had them on for 19 hours and off for 5 hours)...? Just worried about my baby!

Im with PG and dont like leaving them on all the time. I think its much healthier for both the skin and the circulation for them to have a good few hours to "breathe".

If possible id be bandaging in the evening for the night time and then taking them off in the morning and allowing the legs to breathe again.

I dont think any good comes of legs that are wrapped 24 hours :|

I only bandage mine for approx 12 hours, from 6 until 6. Your horse will get banage legs if on for to long(hair goes curly with kink )

i had to bandage my horse 24/7 for several months last year when he was on box rest - yes, he got curly hair, but it's grown out now - he needed the support when he was on box rest after an operation on both hindlegs, especially given he was 20 and he had a tendency to get filled legs coz his circulation is starting to slow down.
