Is there such a thing as permanent stable banks? Like something you buy? I'm imagining triangular bits of rubber you fit around the stable?? Or am I being stupid?

Never hard of them but have heard of cast strips which help people reduce the size of their bankings I think... never seen them used myself though

You can buy anti-cast strips (pieces of rubber matting type stuff) that you fit at a specified height on the stable walls and give the horse something to grip on and push away from if they do get cast (what banks are supposedly for).

If I was a horse tho' I would prefer "fluffy pillows" done properly anyday!

Yes you can actually buy rubber banks, they are very expensive & a pain to fit because all stables are different sizes & very few of then are 100% square so corners are a nightmare. Stick with shavings, it's alot easier.
