The time of year has come when my cats have stopped bringing me mice (and rats ) and have started bringing me lambs tails complete with rubber band! Oh the joys... 4 today already.
Ooh - lambs tails! That's nasty. So pleased we don't live near any sheep fields. My cat manages to bring in the smallest mouse every now and then just to show us he hasn't lost his touch. Do remember my parent's cat bringing back a duck's beak! The most impressive was when he dragged a small turkey through the cat flap. My parents returned it to the local turkey farm!
lambs tails!! if our yard cat started that i think she would have to go!!! theres the gate use it! its bad enough when she brings rabbits down to the yard that are still alive just so you can see how clever she is and how she kills them! im not good with things like that it makes me feel a bit ill.
aren't they just charming!! Our pet cat likes tpo demonstrate how clever he is by catching, killing and eating adult rabbits in their entirety! sometimes more than one in a day...
OUr cat once brought home a pheasant - and sat there under the sideboard in the livingroom (out of reach) growling through a mouthful of neck while the poor thing died. Yuck.
Mine have brought me in no particular order, 2 baby rabbits, umpteen shrews, 1 pheasant and the fat orange one that never catches anything brought me half a roast chicken.
