Hi Guys.
I left my girly without a rug on in her box night before last and get got bitten horridly. All over bless her. She is a thin skinned TB and now has large hand sized welts on the worse ones.
I tried leaving her in her fly rug but its one of those sliver reflective ones and seems too warm in the box with it.
So what do you guys use in the stable? The perfect answer would be a full neck cotton summer sheet! Any ideas??

I have one of those 'bug lantern' things (with the blue coloured bulb that attract flies and midges and then zaps them!) hung right up in the rafters as I was having the same problem

She is also heavily smothered in fly spray at all times, and I am about to make some of Theresa_F's super dooper midge spray stuff for the first time

I use a Rambo dustbuster or a cotton sheet with a neck in the stable as a fly rug on my horse with sweetitch. He then wears his sweetitch hoody in the field.
