I would love some thermatex stable wraps but struggling with the price of new ones - if anyone is selling a set in large I’d be interested.

Failing this has anyone tried any other makes ? Premier equine seem to do some that don’t cost the earth.

If you look for some s/h thermatex leg wraps (which do come up on eBay) do get the cordura covered ones. Bedding sticks to the naked wraps.

I’ve only got Thermatex and Back on Track quick leg wraps which are excellent, but both are on the spendy side.

I have PE ones, I’m not sure if it’s my horse but they don’t fit as beautifully as in the photos!
Horse at work has the Thermatex ones and they are far less faff to fit, I’d probably use mine more if I’d gone for those instead

Do the Cordura ones dry legs as well as the naked ones?

I used to use the Cordura covered Thermatex leg wraps as I bedded on shavings. Never used the naked ones, so no idea of comparison, but they dried legs fine. I bought them second hand off eBay. I loved them. Sold them again on Marketplace when I stopped keeping horses.
I also had Mark Todd Coolex leg wraps that were similar but I don't think they make them any more.

The Mark Todd Coolex Left Wraps are excellent. They've got the cordura outer and Thermatex-like liner. The other advantage of the Cordura outer is that it stops them slouching down around the ankles! 😊

ETA. I missed the post above to say the Coolex Leg Wraps are no longer made.

There's a really good buy and sell page for Thermatex on Facebook, leg wraps come up there regularly.

I've got the covered ones from the seconds sale and they dry well and don't get covered in bedding.

It's called Thermatex Equestrian buy and sell and you'll have to join to see.

I just bought some from Ruggles. They are easy to fit and not so fleecy so the bedding doesn't stick. I hot mine in black Friday sale but I think they sre about £30 for s set of 4 so not too expensive either

I had Thermatex leg wraps. I think I included them in a load of stuff that I donated to an equine charity or you could certainly have them. Bedding stuck to them like you wouldn’t believe.
