Evening all, I am hoping someone can help.

We have 3x stables 12ft x 12ft and a tack room 8ft x 12ft but do not have any mains electric. We currently have 3 x 50w LED external floodlights on 1 switch and 5x 20w on another (250w total). It is powered by 12v battery into inverter and also powered into solar control unit. The battery is also powered into a solar panel on the roof

Solar Charge Controller, Topcloud 30A Solar Panel Controller 12V/24V PWM Auto Parameter Adjustable LCD Display Solar Panel Battery Regulator with Dual USB Port

2000Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter Peak Power 4000 Watt 12V DC to 230V/240V AC Converter - 2 universal AC Outlets & LCD display Power Inverter with wireless Remote Control

These lights are draining the batteries in hardly any time at all. We are unable to use a generator so this is only way of getting lighting.

Any advice?

There was a stall at HoYS this year advertising stable lights and arena lights. Possibly called ‘lite my ride’ but cant certain, if you needed something in the meantime. I dont think they were too expensive.

216 LEDs Under Cupboard Kitchen Lights, 23.6 Inches Dimmable Motion Sensor Wardrobe Lights with 4500mAh Rechargeable Battery, 3 Color 2700K-6500K Under Cabinet Lights,Stick-on Closet Light for Indoor https://amzn.eu/d/daqoXdm

I have these for my feed/tack room. I have 2 in a 40ft x 8ft room and it's enough to see.

This looks brilliant, but a really stupid question. If it's stuck in place how do you charge the battery, does it detach from the light?

So they come with light magnetic pads. you stick them to the wall and then stick the light to them. I have 2 sets so I can have a set at home charging and a set in the feed room.

Handy to take into a stable/shelter to deal with injuries etc too.

We have solar lights for our yard. They have been in use for 10 years at least with no loss of power. I wonder if your battery is at fault. So far we have the same battery going since we installed it all. I remember at the time we spent most of the budget on a top of range battery. Also wonder if your lights are too high wattage for the battery. I can't recall the wattage of our lights but pretty sure they are far less that you have quoted here. I'll have a look in the morning if I remember and see what they are.

Having ordered, installed and been using these for a couple of days I can recommend them.
