Hi. Any help appreciated on choosing some stable mats need them to stay in place with no movement so not to spook a fidgety youngster but be comfortable for my old veteran.
Thankyou

I have never has mats move, even with my fidgety 16-3 warmblood. They are very heavy and provided you butt them up to each other, they should take a lot of shifting.

Im going to order some EVA mats for my mare this winter. You hear good and bad reviews of course but a lot of people love them! Bit more expensive than just standard rubber mats though I think.

I've got EVAs and love them, very easy to lift and move if necessary, but stable and comfortable too as long as they fit well. Only thing I've found is that when my horse had shoes with road nails, they did damage the surface a bit, but as he's barefoot the majority of the time its not an issue for me, barefoot feet don't even mark them.
