Stable Mats

Hi,

I'm looking to buy new mats for my stable so am looking for recommendations please. I have three suppliers in mind ~ Fieldguard, Mayo Horse Mattress & Equimat.....any information would be greatly appreciated.

I have Equimats, thoroughly recommend. I bought them in 2004, they have moved "house" about 6 times and they're good as new. They fit together with jigsaw type pattern down the edges, don't move unless you want them to, and are lighter than the traditional black mats which weigh a ton.
Get them to fit your stable as snugly as possible and they'll never move. (You do need a tiny bit of room for expansion if you fit them in winter)

I also recommend Equimats. I think they're a bit more cushioned than the black ones and definitely easier to lift in and out when you want to wash under them. I sold mine when I moved yards and am really regretting it so will probably end up forking out for a new set now.
