Looking for reccomendations for rubber matting to fit a 12 x 12 stable. The ground is a bit uneven as used to be an old cow shed.
I currently have ark mats but they were second hand so aren't a great fit, i want to get some down for winter that are a tight fit with now gaps......i will probably put sealant on the join aswell.

I am wondering if the heavier mats will be more suitable as the weight of them will sit better on the uneven surface??

I would put something down to level the surface first otherwise you will have pools of smelly pee sitting around.
I asked if i could put concrete in the holes but unfortunatley i am not allowed :-/
I have filled the with wood pellets and replace them every few months

I used some chalk stone in my cart shed, before putting rubber mats down. I did have to lift and redo the stone after about three years as is went mushy and ran away.

Yes, if your floor is a bit lumpy, a heavier, solid rubber mat fitted like carpet would be less likely to move.
The EVA mats are much lighter, and unlikely to mould into depressions/ bumps etc.
What is the floor? Would it be worth borrowing or hiring a ‘whacker plate’ to level the worst unevenness?
We have a field shelter onto grass earth, with tight, thick rubber mats - great - until a mole moved in! They are so powerful.....
Anyway, dragged the mats out to expose an ingenious network of runs, and set to with the whacker plate, leaving very slightly domed in the centre, very slight fall towards the sides - been perfect, mole had an ear bashing and not been back since. That machine will level out road planings, hardcore etc, but I wouldn’t use anything which will ‘mush’ up beneath, it will get smelly. Maybe large ‘pea gravel’? You’re better with mats straight onto earth for soak away. Good luck!

The floor is concrete as it used to be a cow shed.

I dont think a whacker plate will make a difference as the dips need to be filled.

I would ideally like to fill the holes with concrete so it at least levels the surface out a bit. I am not able to do this though so I have been filling with wood pellets and re-doing every few months
