from my previous post i am seriously thinking of getting one, as it might help keep abby more settle in her stable as well. how many people use them? are they any good??

I put one in my mares box when she had to go on box rest - and it certainly entertained her! THe mirror is next to the haynet, and she would stand there for hours admiring herself! My foal is in with the mirror now, as I thought that when she weaned it might help her settle in a stable on her own - and it does seem to have helped. She also stands there for ages admiring how beautiful she is!

Depends on size of horse but the risk is of them kicking them or rolling in stable and smashing them as they can be sharp even though they are perspex.Think ours is about half way up horses shoulder at the bottom,if that makes sense

I got one of the really expensive ones that cant shatter as a pressie to our great YO for her nutty ex racehorse who weaves for England.

And,.......he completely ignored it.

So while most horses do like them, do be prepared that there is a possibility it might be just a handy thing to check if your bum looks big in your jodhs as his has been! :-) LOL
