stable mirrors

Has anyone had any problems with bad reactions to stable mirrors? My mare went bonkers and we had to take it down within an hour of fitting it. Strangely though we hadnt even taken the protective film off the mirror, so it wasn't even that reflective!

I put my boy in a friend's stable that had a mirror and he reacted like your mare. There was haylage in the stable and as b is very food aggressive I reckon he thought there was another horse trying to steal his food. We took the haylage out & he started to lick the mirror???? V strange boy
