Hey guys.

Well hopefully in the next week or so il be getting my new horse on a one month trial then itl be a loan for 7 months or so then il buy!! As long as trial goes ok! Very excited :)

so hes a 15.1hh ish gelding,11 yrs old called crepello mackenzie.

Il add pics as soon as i can but hes a beatufil tricolour :)

anyways obviously crepellos quite a long name so looking for a stable name..
I think crepes fine like the pancake and its just crepello shortened but my friend says i cannot call a horse after a pancake lol.. Any ideas?

Ollie x

Why can't you call him Crepes?! x I have a horse named cfter a car (Scirocco) and a horse named after a murderer (Billy the Kid) so naming after a pancake is fine! x :D

Dont u think mackenzie sounds chavvy? Pellos quite cool :)

see, but then pello reminds me of Pelle the footballer, true Mackenzie can err on the side of chav (thats what you get from taking advice of a sheep:rolleyes:) Personally, I love the Name mac, but then I have known and ridden a couple with variations of that name, and they were both fantastic rides with very big hearts.

BAAAA

Edited to add: I also suggested Kenzo!

sorry to be a pain but as hes 11 doesnt he already have a stable name? if he doesnt know his name then my votes for mack but in general im not sure about changing names:D

VOTE - KENZO! :D

eurgh no, you'll give her a huge head:eek:

Im voting for crepe, zizi, kenzo or pello? Votes please :)
calling your horse pancake is one thing, but calling it a name that can be mistaken for another variation on poo, is tantamount to cruelty. I am actually wetting myself reading this, I kid you not, I am so glad everyone is out because I am LOL with tears rolling down my cheeks just thinking about you having to go and call your horse in from the field, or being out at a show and growling his name at him in public.

Seriously, you want to call your horse Crepe? You may as well call it turd!

Turd is a lovely name.

Lol.

Stop talking crepe, queenbee!

Pancake for sure :D

I like Pello personally!
I gave my chappy a new stable name, his stable name (Lee) was simply part of his reg. name which I hated so i plucked a name out the air and he's been it every since :)

I agree - If he doesnt have a stable name I would go for Mack or pancake.

Another though is to wait and see what develops.

Our first pony - Saltmarsh Ragged Robin, was Rags. He used to get called Raggaboo - which was shortened to Boo.

My old girl Is Magic Millbrook, stable name Flicks (not sure why - name pre dates us) and she gets called Flicks or Flickety doo Daa - which is shortened to Doo Daa

My Daughter Sophies Big Grey Cob was Almera - we hated it and it realy didnt suit her, but we kept it beacuse thats what she was called, she was shortened to Meery or Big Al. She didnt have a formal show name so Sophie picked 'The Iron Maiden' which not only suited her to the ground but indulges Sophies keeness for Rock music.

PMSL! Stop telling me off or I'll get my mint sauce out :D
Honestly though, I was in fits of giggles, I am so glad everyone is out of the office today, I couldn't control myself!:D:D

Errr.....what's that supposed to mean?
