Weve got 6x4 boards with felt which over the years have weathered and now leak, we need to replace the roofing but I dont want to use this again as its so heavy to get up there and a swine to do

Is there any roofing I can use thats lightweight and waterproof, was thinking maybe a corrugated roofing sheets but dont know if these get hot in summer or would be noisey?

Definitely use Onduline. Its lightweight, waterproof, not too expensive and most stables manufacturers now use it. Wont rust like metal sheets and wont kill people if they blow off (which they wont!)

It's great!!

We had 3 months of lying snow, in places up to a metre thick last winter, and torrential rainstorms too this spring. Not a squeak of a drip.

Also if you using existing old supports from previous roof, you dont need to worry cos it is so light it will def be ok, whereas new tin might not be forever.

Here it is on our mini barn

Heres a link for one supplier so you can see what it looks like, but you can get green and red and other versions, and even ones that look like tiles or slates.
edited to add link!
