Looking for stable rug recommendations. Ideally detach-a-neck. Would need a light weight, medium weight and then possibly a lighter side of a heavy weight dependent on the weight of the others if that makes sense. Currently horse has amigo insulators but I have to use a chest expander as she a high set neck which is deep. Weatherbetta freestyles fit her great for the field but they don't do detach a neck stable rugs :( She can be tricky to fit as she 16/16.1hh but only a 6ft rug.
Thinking Mark Todd or Swish, neither of which I have experience with. Any recommendations gratefully received.
I wish I put this much thought into my wardrobe!

I use Mark Todd on both my boys. I always have to go one size up from Weatherbeeta sizes though for every other make of rug.

Great thank you. I will take a look at them. I think a 6ft 3 will be too big though. Her 6ft WB is quite generous so I think the extra 3 inches would be too big. She takes a 6ft in amigos, Rambos and bucas rugs

I have Mark todd stable rugs for my very wide chested mare. She is 14.1 and a bit and wears 6'6 in the light and medium ones and 6'9 in the heavy one. the fit her well. However they were bough nearly 9 years ago. When I wanted to buy them for my other horse the light one at least would not go round her shoulders. They must have changed the pattern. I ended up with a rhino medium stable rug for her. They both wear shires turnouts but only the ones with the shoulder gussets in. Shires don't do stable rugs with shoulder gussets anymore :( Mine do not wear neck covers in the stable and only when out in severe weather to conserve their manes.

Thank you. She doesn't wear necks unless it's cool, but unfortunately she's quite a poor doer and gets cold easily so I do need them at some point. Plus she gets a full clip. I will keep looking and try a few makes, but it does sound like Mark Todd could be my best bet
