Would horses be ok in stables this size 10foot by 14 foot
and 15ft by 10ft
and ponies 11.6 by 9.6 with lower stable doors
they may be the only way to fit in existing barn

I think the larger two stables sound about average size. Not sure about the ponies, but previous poster has given a link that might help. Trying to think outside the box, could the ponies have an indoor group turnout area within the existing barn instead, if there would be room and they get on?

I have mine (15.1, 15.1, 14.2) in 12' X 10' stables and they are happy as Larry. I'd put up to a 16.2 in there; anything bigger would need a standard 12 X 12 or bigger.

My 16h middleweight mare lived in a 10x11 one winter when our planning fell through. She was fine but is a fairly sensible type - she never rolled in it, she knew she couldn't yet will regularly roll in her big stable. I wouldn't dare put our 17h thick hunter in a small stable, and found yearlings in small stables got cast a lot. Our 12h and 13.2 ponies happily lived in those sized pony stables. But we got a 14h pony on loan that had come from a yard of 12x12 stables and she didn't like it at all.

Long-winded way of saying it depends on the horse!
