If you know of one that really works for grey horses please could you let me know.

My grey mare seems to love lying in her poo and whilst she looks lovely when clean it's a nightmare keeping her that way.

Thanks

Baby wipes are great for removing stable stains, as are those grooming blocks/stones especially on old, dry stains. You have to remember to brush the dust out after using the block though. I have a grey mare with a penchant for poo stains too

On show days - Cowboy Magic does the trick. For older ones, after doing a patch test, Arial stainer remover gel does the business but try not to use it too often as it does dry out the hair.

Cowboy Magic is fab so long as the coat is otherwise clean. If its not then you'll just drag all the underneath dirt up and make a bigger mess!

Its a godsend for my skewbalds :)

dont greys just know that they are grey!!

Tried Cowboy Magic and didn't rate it - maybe I didn't use it correctly?
yeah, i have had the same problem... i think we used it properly

We use a shampoo that is meant for old ladies blue rinses, Boots sell it or one of the old style chemists. It is cheap and purple in colour. Don't leave on for too long and wash off thoroughly but works a treat. Fab for grey tails too .:o
