Hiya I have a large water container in Charlie's stable which has to be filled from tap some distance. Does anyone make a thingy on wheels for water tubs?

Currently dragging with a rope. Then adding a final bucket neither ideal as have just had back tweaked by chiro.

Buy two small trugs, carry in each hand and tip into large container. They double up as feed buckets.
I used to have two water containers in the stable as he might poop in one.
You can also buy a sack barrow which convets in to a trolley.

good idea two buckets, hose is no good tbh as we have a hose a other end of the yard its price you pay for being in the block with the bestest liveries :)

Buckets are tough too (sounds like I am falling apart) I have tennis elbow one bucket makes me lopsided.

B&Q have a water container that is on wheels, its like a large bucket on wheels. Its green with a handle.

Thumbs up for H2go bag :) I have 2 they are ideal as you just fill up at the tap and move with wheelbarrow and the non slip mat that come with them are great. Mine are still going strong 2 years on.

One of these...

The last one I bought lasted two years of being wheeled on roughened concrete before it sprung a leak, then another two years with a trug in it before the wheels fell off and it had to be replaced!

Absolute 'back saver' because you don't even have to bend to wheel it... and it holds plenty of water- takes a 42litre size trug.

Being male and allergic to work, I'd look at a more permanent solution! The thought of carting water every day makes me feel quite faint!

Even if you didn't dig the pipe in, laying a temporary pipe on the surface (until such time as you can get someone to bury it) really should not cost a fortune. Isn't there a nearby water pipe to a field trough someone could plumb a line into?

These days plumbing is like Leggo and a lot can be done without special tools. Came here 30 years ago with no water anywhere. I now have water troughs in every field (on 30 acres) and four kennels, field shelter, outside taps, and stables, mostly installed by myself. Here is just one supplier of fittings....

The trouble with wheeled water barrels is how do you lift them to fill a water bucket?

With the H2go you fill the bucket by tipping the wheelbarrow - you don't have to lift it at all. I use one when the water troughs freeze in the winter - it works very well.

Thank you all especially as I just noticed I type Trig i blame the ipad.
Piping water is not a solution (trust me) love liaths Homebase thingy looks purrfect.
May get a H2go for the field we do have piped water there but want to section off to let front rest.
