My boyfriend is just about to buy a house with stables at home. There are two stables and a small paddock and its based in North Leeds with masses of hacking and bridleways. There are no other facilities other than the stable and paddock (obviously water and electricity)
If he wanted to let one/both stable/s, what do you think he could let it for and what precautions would he need to take i.e insurance or would he just be able to make sure the individual & horse were insured? Its not going to be a livery yard set up obviously, just if there's someone in the vicinity wanting a quiet private stable. . . If not, i'll keep a horse there and he wouldn't be liable for anything from me other than being utterly grateful he bought such a lush house!!!!
