I am moving my horse next week. She currently is turned out individually, and comes in at night. She will be living out 24/7 for the first few weeks at the new yard in a field with 2 others (we will be introducing gradually don't worry!!) until the others come in at night around mid October.
I have the choice of 2 stables. Preferred one is outside, with a nice view of the fields. Better for her as she doesn't like being in on her own, so if for any reason she has to be at least she will be able to see the others. It's at the end of a row of 8 stables so she will have a mate next door.
Stable 2 is inside a barn, bit dark and dusty, no view of anything, but it's next to her two new field companions.
I'm wondering if she will prefer being near her two new mates, or if this will lead to her getting too close to them and then not wanting to hack out alone.
Opinions please!
