Please give me ideas how to snazz these old relics up - Potentially need them for 3 large TBs. (Who are used to living in serious luxury (hence in competition riders area as you know about smart set-ups!), in an American Barn with boxes 16x20ft so pretty huge) we are moving house, and these "could" (never know with sales) be our new yard....

Firstly check out the buildings to ensure they are in good condition. As we all know horses are extremely destructlve & strong & if there is any weakness in the structure they'll find it & destroy it. Also ensure they are watertight. Treat all exterior wooden surfaces with a preservative to prolong the life of the timber. Replace any rotted timber. Ensure that stables can be secured & the perimeter of the yard is securely fenced.

Looking at the concrete floor you will need to carry out some repairs to ensure they don't lose their footing & injure themselves. Jet wash out the earth & weeds & then either patch in the areas with concrete or dig out large damaged areas & replace.

It matters little if the horses have been in 5 star accomodation or not, they don't care. All they want is feed, water & being cared for correctly.

No one can give costings on one photograph but looking at the photo there appears to be quite a bit to do. Good Luck
