Three words to describe the dressage 'bottle of pop' I think the judge was kind to give us 46.5 as he was tense and hollow throughout

can only blame myself as we didn't work in for long enough and I'm a crap dressage rider!

SJ he did a lovely round gave everything a foot but I overrode him to the planks ... shoved him right at the bottom and he cramped up behind and stroked them off........... bugger!! They were on a dogleg down hill after an oxer so quite a few of us were caught out.

XC ..... loved it

it's quite hilly so I didn't push on too much as he was knackered by the end. Got a clear and don't think I got any time pens

So that's it for my 1st season eventing........... have had a ball got some half decent scores and would thoroughly recommend it.

Thanks to all of you who advised me along the way and I hope that I can give it a go again nxt season

I do remember you going round as your horse looks very similar to one that got eliminated earlier on and I said to sis "that horse looks just like ....." very nice horse

Boris the spyder I got a picture of you jumping in at the first part of the combination at fence 18 (was fence judging there). Will post it on here when I eventually get it downloaded and work out how to post pictures.

Pidge, I caught a glimpse of you in the briefing in the morning but never got chance to say hello. Did you enjoy yourself?

was with sis and friend on table nearest entrance. What time did you have to set off to get there this morning then? Left home just after 7am to do the horses and that was early enough for a Sunday!
Ah so you were on fence 17 coming out with the good comments as well then
grin.gif
kept an ear out for you as I had to report on fence 19 as well as ours but not score it so cribbed the numbers from you or fence 18

Really enjoyed it as we could see fences 1-3, the house complex in the distance, and then 17 - 19 from where we were so very good, and they looked after us well with the food didn't they?

Ah Hollibobs we were next to you!! Did you have the silver 4X4?!!

Pidge yep we did see you come in....was Icestationzebra with me making the comments...

We set off at 7.20...still there in loads of time!!

Shall make you jealous as we set off from home at emmmm 8.25am and still made it in plenty of time for 8.30am

Sorry Boris the Spyder for hijacking your post

Yes, we had the silver 4x4. Didn't realize it was you on the fence next to us. It was the first time we have ever fence judged but enjoyed it. Was blooming cold though, we sat out for most of the day but eventually retreated to the car for a bit of warmth.

Yeah, more like madness I think. I had 4 layers on and was even considering putting my fleecy lined chaps on at one time.

Will try and upload that picture now........ I might be some time!!!!!
