Hi, im looking at possibly buying a new 3.5t horsebox and in my research, I've been fairly impressed with Staffordshire Horseboxes. Has anyone else got one? Can you give me any reviews on it? How it drives etc... Many thanks

Ive got one. They built it for me 13 years ago & it's been fantastic. It's a Renault Master & is now 20 yrs old & has never let me down. It's a bit slow up hills but I've travelled 4 different horses in it & they've all liked it. The tack locker is maybe a bit small for 2 17" saddles & I have to put them in backwards. Their before & after sales service I found was excellent. Mine is a split ramp with the top a 'lid' that swings up. I've had to replace the gas hinges once & I changed the partition from a full solid one to a lower 'skirt'. The top 'lid' got ripped off when someone didn't shut it properly & it shot up & hit a tree! I took it to a local Horsebox builder & he said it was very well built. Must have impressed him as he subsequently started converting 3.5 vans himself. Highly recommend.

I have one which I have upgraded to allow me to have enough payload for my 2 large TBs. It is a very reliable box, and great space internally.... my 17.2 has more than enough headroom, more than in the professional box I hired to transport my 3 horses across the country when we moved. I would recommend them!

I've just spoken with a person who bought one direct and the build quality was horrific! hardcto believe they build one a week when you can't find anyone else who has one! I'll be staying away from them!
